Explore Club Royale to get points and earn reward points

This is a free of cost club available to every cruiser with an age of 18 or older (21 or older in Alaska). Earn points based on how much you play within the casino; these points can be exchanged for freeplay credits, souvenirs, and even free cruises amongst a lot of other things.

How to become a member of The Club Royale reward program?

Even if it is your first cruise, there is no need to worry as every passenger is automatically a member of the club. While using the SeaPass to play games, passengers have to sign up for another club called Crown & Anchor, and once this step is completed the Club Royale Reward Program starts. So be sure to have your phone permissions turned on and your email updated in order to not miss out on Club Royale offers.

Points can be redeemed through the SeaPass touch card, which serves a dual purpose and can be used as a room key. While playing prone in spirit or tables, simply present it to identify yourself or insert it onto the slot machines. Points earned from tracking games that can be found on Royal Caribbean's Web Page or the cruise line application provide the ability to manage these points by clicking on your profile.

How do you earn points?

To earn points, use your SeaPass card, which doubles as a room key, insert or tap your card while playing slot machines or present it at the tables. Points are earned and can be tracked through Royal Caribbean’s website or the cruise line's app by clicking on your profile.

Ways to earn reward points and tier credits

Slot Machines: Earn 1 point for every $5 played on a reel slot machine or $10 on a video poker machine.

Table Games: Points are based on the type of game, average bet, and play duration.

Note that certain games, like Texas Hold'em Poker, Keymaster, Cash Crane, and coin pushers, are not eligible for point earning.

Benefit options that can be utilized include shore excursions, gaming credits, spa services, and complimentary dining under the wide array of redeemable reward points. Your tier level within the Club Royale, as well as the benefits you receive, are determined by tier credits.

How to track your points

There is two ways of checking your balance:

  1. Insert your SeaPass card into a slot machine.
  2. Ask the casino host, who typically has a desk on most ships but is often roaming the casino floor.

Casino games you can find on Royal Caribbean

Each Royal Caribbean ship will have all the traditional slot machines, roulette and blackjack, poker, craps, and baccarat, and video poker machines and electronic roulette on most ships. Check on individual ships for other features.

Tournaments

If making money is the primary objective, then tournaments may not be the most lucrative but gaming can be an enjoyable pastime when a social element is involved.

On Casino Royale, slot, blackjack and poker tournaments are available and timings are available in Player’s Edge or Cruise Compass onboard. Do remember that the tournaments and their fees also differ from ship to ship.

Buy-in

The range for the buy-in at most poker tournaments starts at one hundred up to one hundred fifty dollars, and the cash prize can reach thousands at stake, but there is a large rake taken by the casino (around 20-30%). The game's structure can differ as well; sometimes, it's run out in a sit-n-go format while at other times it’s played out on multiple tables. The blinds do increase fast in the game which does make the game fast, but at the same time, it discourages predictable poker play which many old school poker players may not like.

For many cruisers, slot tournaments may be a low-cost and fun tournament type, with a buy-in of about $25 and re-buys of around $20. Usually, such tournaments feature qualifying heats and then the finals when the winners can earn, in some cases, up to $500, although whether this is on cash or casino chip play does differ.

Age limit

It is established by Royal Caribbean that 18 is the minimum age of entry into the casino aboard most cruises, while in those towards Alaska this age rises to 21.

Accessibility

In terms of accessibility, the casinos onboard the Celebrity Cruises are well constructed to fit the needs of all the guests. The floor plan is well designed with adequate spacing and directional aids which helps all patrons to move around with ease. Tables and machines are installed in a way that a person in a wheelchair or any such device can enjoy the games along with others.

Apart from these, the well trained staff of the casino are available to help the guests with disabilities and facilitate the gaming process for them uninterrupted.
