Most passengers’ opinions about the casino in Celebrity Apex differ significantly. The staff was a problem for most passengers, claiming that there were never any open tables for Craps and Poker. The Blackjack table often had a $25 minimum limit at 6/5 odds. The minimum for the roulette table was $10. Choices of video poker were few and the games that were available did not pay off well.
Many travelers were excited to spend their onboard credits and Captain’s Club match plays but using match plays at $10 Roulette was less fun according to them. Most stressed that there should have been enough personnel for at least one table for craps because they thought that it was nice not to breathe in smoke, but only in the case of enough staff.
Some people remarked that the vessel was magnificent and its personnel as well as the food onboard was as good as outstanding, but most of them were disillusioned with the casino. They appreciated some of the events like the Caravan and Crystallised shows, and Ralph Harris who performed in comedy too.
Compliments were given to the casino for the absence of smoking areas, abundance of slot machine and the convenience of using cashless payments to play the machines. Texas Hold’em competitions were great, but others noted that the payouts on machines were quite low which ruined the overall fun.
